Enhancing SEND Learning Through ISport Walls and Floors Systems by Amazing Interactives Ltd

Background

Educational settings are increasingly seeking inclusive solutions that effectively support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Traditional classroom methods can present barriers for learners who benefit from sensory engagement, movement, and adaptable teaching approaches.

The Challenge

Many SEND students experience difficulties with:

  • Maintaining attention in static learning environments
  • Engaging with traditional, desk-based teaching methods
  • Processing information through limited sensory input
  • Participating confidently alongside peers

Schools required a solution that could:

  • Support diverse learning needs
  • Improve engagement and participation
  • Provide inclusive and accessible experiences

Our Solution

iSports Wall and floor system from amazing interactives have been introduced in to many SEND schools as a dynamic learning tool. These systems use the latest LIDAR tracking and high brightness LASER projections to create immersive, finger touch safe environments.  With a vast range of interactive content spanning education, sensory experiences, sports, and fun, it brings a dynamic and engaging learning environment to life.

Key features include:

  • Movement-based interaction (no physical contact required)
  • Multi-sensory stimulation (visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic)
  • Customisable content adaptable to individual learning levels
  • Inclusive design enabling group and individual participation

The technology has been integrated into many SEND classrooms and shared learning spaces. Teachers were able to:

  • Tailor activities to suit different abilities
  • Incorporate physical movement into lessons
  • Use interactive games to reinforce core subjects (literacy, numeracy, coordination)

Sessions were designed to be flexible, allowing students to engage at their own pace.

The Results

The introduction of iSports walls and floors has delivered measurable improvements:

  • Increased Engagement: Students showed higher levels of focus and enthusiasm during lessons
  • Improved Participation: Even reluctant learners became more willing to join activities
  • Enhanced Motor Skills: Movement-based tasks supported physical coordination and development
  • Greater Inclusivity: Activities could be adapted so all students could participate regardless of ability
  • Positive Behaviour Impact: Reduced frustration and increased enjoyment in learning

The Impact

Interactive environments transformed the learning experience for SEND students by:

  • Bridging the gap between physical activity and education
  • Supporting sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
  • Enabling differentiated learning without isolating individuals

Teachers reported that the iSports wall and Floor not only supported educational outcomes but also improved confidence and social interaction among students.

iSport Wall and Floor system has provided a powerful, inclusive solution for SEND education. By combining movement, sensory engagement, and adaptable content, they create an environment where all learners can thrive—regardless of their individual challenges.

As you know Pravin I have wanted this piece of interactive equipment for the Orchard service for such a long time, it is has been well worth the wait, amount of fundraising  to finally have such an amazing piece of interactive equipment.

Since the system was installed there has not been a day when it is not in use, the fantastic software / activities installed are providing such an amazing and positive impact for not only the service users who use it, but for the service as a whole. The ISW system has enabled us to provide a more holistic view and positive way to carry out a wider array of interactive, sensory, therapeutic and motivational activities which is unique and caters for all the s/users individual needs with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

The ISW system enables service users to have 1-1 sessions or join in small group activities which support social inclusion with their peers.

Willow Tree Park School. Alicia Highton Willow Tree Park Headteacher

We recently had an iSportsWall installed by Amazing Interactives and have been really impressed with the product, customer service and installation.

Willow Tree Park is a specialist setting supporting young people with complex needs, including autism and learning difficulties. The iSportsWall has been a fantastic addition, helping our students access the curriculum in a fun, engaging and active way.

It’s also a great reward tool and has had a positive impact on engagement, confidence and behaviour across the school. The installation was smooth, and the team were professional and supportive throughout.

We would highly recommend Amazing Interactives to other schools, especially specialist settings.
